Welcome to Escribir Academy, a reputable organization in professional education. Kindly go through the following terms and conditions carefully before enrolling for any course. By completing admission, you acknowledge having gone through and agreed to all the terms and conditions.
1. Online Course Access
Students will gain access to online lectures pre-recorded through Escribir Academy’s Learning Management System (LMS). The course pack includes lectures that the student can watch anytime. Live classes are not included in the course unless clearly indicated in the course pack.
2. Compatible Devices
LMS can be accessed through compatible Windows, Android, iOS, and macOs.
3. Single Device Only
LMS accounts are registered to a single device at the point of admission. Using more than one device or changing device is not allowed unless expressly written permission from Escribir Academy’s administration is sought.
4. Online Lectures Streaming & Internet Connection
Lectures will only be streamed online and not downloaded. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure an internet connection. Internet connection speed of 15 Mbps and above is highly recommended.
5. Personal Use of LMS
Access to LMS can only be personal and must be used by the student who has registered at the time of admission. Sharing of the account details with another individual or allowing another person to access the account is prohibited.
Violations of this term can lead to cancellation of the access without refund subject to relevant laws.
6. Course Validity & Exams Attempt
Access to the course is given for the particular exam attempt that has been agreed with the administration at the time of admission. In cases where there is no particular exam attempt stated, access is usually given for the nearest exam attempt.
Validity period and dates of the access will be communicated to the student at the time of admission. The validity period ends automatically on the expiration date of the agreement whether the lectures have been watched or not.
7. Extensions, Exams Attempts or Access Periods Change
Before enrollment, students are required to confirm their exam attempts and the validity period of the course.
Change of exams attempt, extension of the validity period or change of access period is not usually allowed. Any exemption is given only if expressly requested in writing from Escribir Academy’s administration and may incur extra fees.
In case access to the course expires, re-enrollment may be required using the relevant full course fee.
8. Freezing of Course Access
Students can make a written request to freeze the course access through Escribir Academy’s official communication channel, subject to approval and course policy.
Course access will only be frozen officially in order to retain the unused access days for future use. When the course access is not officially frozen, it will expire on the date of expiration of validity period regardless of whether the lectures have been watched or not.
It is important for students to obtain written confirmation of any official freezing of access including the new dates of the access.
9. Transfer of Course Fee Policy
Course fees paid for one subject cannot be transferred to another subject. Similarily, course fees paid by one student cannot be transferred to another student.
Any exemption from this is given only with written permission from Escribir Academy’s administration.
10. Refund Policy
Once enrollment and course access are given, course fees are non-refundable unless there is an exemption under relevant law.
Student’s decision not to watch the lectures, not to use the LMS, inability to complete the course in the agreed validity period does not by itself qualify for a refund or extension.
Refund request will be determined based on the relevant law and the circumstances. In case refund or adjustment of fees is allowed, the relevant terms and conditions will be communicated in writing.
11. Non-utilization of Course Access
Course fee includes enrollment in the course and provision of access for the agreed validity period. Even when a student does not watch the lectures, fees will still be payable.
It is the responsibility of the student to manage his/her study schedule and complete the course within the agreed validity period.
12. Written Communication & Agreements
Important agreements like enrollment, fees, exam attempts, access period, extension, freezing and all other matters relating to the course will be confirmed in writing through Escribir Academy’s official communication channel.
Students should keep written confirmation of any arrangement agreed with the administration. Verbal discussion should not be relied upon as confirmation of any change in the terms.
13. Student Conduct & Discipline
Students are expected to maintain professional conduct when communicating with Escribir Academy’s administration, tutors, staff members and fellow students.
Misconduct, sharing of course materials unauthorizedly, abuse of access to LMS or other violation of academy policies will lead to disciplinary action which may include freezing or cancellation of access to the course.
14. Attendance Requirements
For courses that have live classes or attendance, students are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance in each enrolled subject unless otherwise indicated in writing.
15. Visa Application & Foreign University Transfer
Escribir Academy does not offer visa application, visa sponsorship or foreign university transfer. Students who need these services should contact the relevant institutions.
16. Student Data & Privacy
Escribir Academy values its students’ personal information and collects and stores it for legitimate education and administrative purposes. Relevant student data can be collected, stored and used for such purposes as enrollment management, delivery of the course, fees records, student support, examination administration and compliance with relevant requirements.
Relevant information can be shared for legitimate purpose with examination bodies, qualification providers and authorized service providers where necessary. Any submission to ACCA or other professional body will be done where necessary and properly authorized.

17. Amendments of the Terms and Conditions
Escribir Academy may revise these terms when necessary to reflect amendments to its service conditions, course schedules, and legal requirements. Material revisions will be announced via suitable means as necessary.
The applicable terms with respect to the student’s enrollment will be those with respect to the terms which have been announced and agreed upon at the time of admission and any other changes validly agreed to or otherwise legally applicable thereafter.
